Loston and his Grandmother

Loston's mother died when he was three months old. His father's whereabouts are unknown, so his grandmother reluctantly assumed his care, as she also has other children to look after. Loston is now 9 months old but is struggling to thrive as his formula regularly runs out and he is fed cassave mealie and traditional drinks instead. Pam is trying to help out by providing clothes and food whenever loston and his grandmother come by. |

Elizabeth is a thriving 3 month old who was recently discharged from the hospital. Her mother died from cancer when she was four weeks old. Her father has an older child , but can't take care of them both of them because he cannot afford formula. Her great aunt is currently taking care of her, but the family has already asked Pam if she would take Elizabeth once the orphanage opens. |
